Rachel has been sewing since 2010 and streaming on Twitch since 2016.

My first serious sewing project started with a charity quilt in 2010. An acquaintance was raising money for her 60 mile Susan G. Komen walk in Seattle, and I thought, “Sure, I can make a quilt for raffle.” and I did. As an “elder millennial” I have the “How hard can it be?” gene and so therefore I usually jump in both feet first with a new skill I want to learn.

Pawsitively Stitched started as an idea born from my love of my dogs. The matriarch of Pawsitively Stitched was Luna, who sadly lost her battle with cancer in Nov of 2024. Lunas Toys is a section that is for homemade stuffy dog toys that Luna would have loved. She was only allowed to have soft toys and to honor her, I pass the opportunity to have Luna-approved toys on to your furry friends.

Pawsitively Stitched is an LGBTQIA+ friendly business. We believe Trans Rights are human rights, everyone deserves to have a roof over their head and to have food in their belly. We believe in bodily autonomy for all.

As of 2025, I have been active military for 21 years and as such this wonderful baby of mine is still a part time gig. In 2014, I was stationed in Oklahoma City and started doing more serious sewing. In December 2016, I decided to give content creation a go. My Twitch channel has gone from gaming to fiber arts. Since my very first quilt, I have loved using my talents to benefit others, I raise money for several organizations annually through my Twitch platform. In 2018, I moved back to Washington State, and I now call the PNW home sweet home.

I take limited commissions each year but create things that inspire me all year long. Thank you for supporting this woman-owned business.
